Scripps PRSSA has been lucky to travel to so many amazing places and visit a variety of companies. We love giving our members the opportunity to not just host visitors in Athens, but also meet them in their offices, gaining a real understanding of what life is like for industry professionals.⠀
⠀
This year, we had the incredible opportunity to head to Chicago! We visited a variety of companies, including McDonald’s, Walker Sands, The Motion Agency, and the Chicago Bulls. Our members got to hear about career paths, participate in Q&A sessions, and connect with professionals, including our very own Bobcat alumni! It was a fantastic experience, and we’re so grateful to be able to provide these opportunities to our members thanks to generous donations.⠀

Over the past few years, our chapter has traveled to Pittsburgh (2019), Chicago (2019, 2026), New York (2020, 2025), and Boston (2023). We plan to continue taking our members to new places, offering experiences they might never have otherwise had.⠀

These trips are made possible by the support of everyone who backs Scripps PRSSA. Giving Day is a great reminder that our members are part of a large, supportive community that helps foster their growth during their time at Ohio University. We can’t thank you enough for your support and we’re so excited for all the plans we have for the upcoming year!⠀
