Your network is everything in this industry. The people you meet on set, at games, or even online can turn into collaborators, mentors, or future opportunities. Don’t just connect build real relationships. 

2.Be a student of the game
Great storytelling doesn’t happen by accident. Study what makes moments hit. Watch documentaries, analyze pacing, sound design, interviews not just sports content, but everything.

3. Be open-minded to criticism
Feedback is part of the process at every level. Not every note will be right, but every note is an opportunity to grow. Learn how to separate your ego from your work.

4. Imposter syndrome is real and it doesn’t go away
No matter how far you go, there will be moments where you feel like you don’t belong. Everyone experiences it The difference is, you keep showing up anyway. Trust your work, trust your preparation, and understand that you’re in the room for a reason.
