A panic attack and what people call an anxiety attack differ mainly in onset and intensity. “Anxiety attack” isn’t a formal clinical term; it usually describes a gradual buildup of worry or stress, often tied to upcoming events like exams or social situations, with symptoms such as restlessness, shaking, and a racing heart. A panic attack, however, is sudden, peaks quickly (often within 10 minutes), and can include intense physical symptoms like chest pain, dizziness, and shortness of breath, along with a feeling of losing control or dying. Anxiety is slower and prolonged; panic is immediate and intense. Both are real and treatable. #panicattack #anxiety #sonalibarthwal
