🚨The first thing we have to clear up is that going on dates or “dating” someone is not the same as being in a relationship with someone!

Oftentimes when I tell singles that they should be okay with dating multiple people at a time, they think I mean that they should be in committed relationships with multiple people at once and that is NOT what I mean! (although you do you 🥴)

🌟The benefit of dating more than one person at a time, or in not putting all your eggs 🪺 in one basket, is as much of a benefit to you as it is to the person/people you’re seeing.

1️⃣ It helps to create some breathing room between you and the person you’re interested in getting to know better, and as a result, puts less pressure on every intereaction you do–or don’t–have with this person.

↪️ If they don’t text you back as soon as you’d like, it’s not the end of the world! Because your entire dating future isn’t resting on the response of the one person you went on a date with, and subsequently shut everyone else out for 😅.

➕ Dating multiple people can give you perspective (via real life scenarios) into what you do and don’t want in a future partner. You’re not pitting people against each other, but rather, giving your brain 🧠 the ability to live in different realities and analyze which elements of each they like best, or are willing to learn to compromise on.
