🎯 Thrilled to mark my first year serving on the board of the Ontario French-Language Educational TeleCommunications Authority, overseeing the Francophone Television of Ontario(TFO ) in a public appointment that holds deep personal significance. Today, reflecting on my journey when I moved to Canada 13 years ago, as an international Francophone student, I know that my voice contributes uniquely to shaping the cultural mosaic of Canada and I’m so proud to play a role in fostering cultural diversity and understanding.
📚Ontario’s Minister of Education Stephen Lecce  address at the Empire Club of Canada this afternoon resonated with me, highlighting our shared immigrant experience. Under his thoughtful ministry, we are working diligently at tfo_ontario to keep on fulfilling our mandate, offering a rich variety of francophone educational and cultural programs. I am grateful to my fellow board members and the dedicated leadership team of TFO  for their collaborative efforts in shaping TFO as a catalyst for immersive francophone experience, cultural growth, and identity construction. Indeed, I am a proud franco-Ontarian and first African woman on that board 🫣

🎯 Enthousiaste de célébrer ma première année au sein du conseil d’administration de l’Office des télécommunications éducatives de langue française de l’Ontario, supervisant la Télévision francophone de l’Ontario (TFO), dans une nomination publique qui revêt une profonde signification personnelle. Aujourd’hui, en réfléchissant sur mon parcours quand j’ai déménagé au Canada il y a 13 ans en tant qu’étudiante internationale, je sais que ma voix contribue de manière unique à façonner la mosaïque culturelle du Canada, et je suis fière de jouer un rôle dans la promotion de la diversité culturelle et de sa compréhension.
