💦 LUBE!!!! 💦

(But make it TTC-safe)

(And for absolute clarity — because I didn’t know this for the first five years of my career — TTC = trying to conceive. Not the Toronto Transit Commission. 🚇😅)

One of the most common questions my patients ask me is:

“Can I use lube when trying to conceive?”

Yes!

But only the right kind.

Most conventional lubes:

❌ are sperm-toxic
❌ disrupt pH
❌ were not designed with fertility in mind
❌ HAVE PARABENS (endocrine disrupting chemicals) IN THEM! Yes, some FERTILITY lubes have chemicals in them that can dis- regulate your hormones. #fertility #ttc #ttccommunity #infertilitysupport #fertilityawareness

This is why I often recommend fertility-friendly options like Bird&Be (@birdbeco) which are formulated to support sperm, mimic cervical fluid, reduce friction, and take pressure off timing — which matters more than people realize.

So yes — use lube

Just don’t use any lube.

This is one of those small, overlooked details that comes up daily in clinic — and can quietly impact outcomes. 🧬 💦 🌈
