Zoo Luminate, inspired by Asian culture, is a breathtaking lantern festival featuring over 60 glowing artistic lanterns scattered throughout the @potawatomizoo.

I had so much fun, watching the lanterns, seeing the animals, swinging, eating and spending quality time with my husband. 

This event is perfect for families, kids, friends or date night! The whole tour takes about 1-2 hours. 

Lanterns run from March 19 to May 25, every Wednesday through Sunday, from 6 to 10 p.m and you don’t want to miss this experience! 

I went in at 6:30 pm so that I could get the best of both worlds, see the animals catch the sunset and the dark lighting which was the best part of it all. 

Tickets are $20 per adult, $15 per children and  it’s FREE for kids that are 2 and under!
