If you are struggling with confidence, I would start small and celebrate like a wild person over the smallest little things. 

Bottom up approach—doing something physiologically to shift chemistry and impact psychology.

Let’s say you want to become a runner. 

Put your shoes out the night before to run tomorrow morning. 

When you put your shoes by your front door—celebrate like a wild person. Coach yourself ridiculously.

Small, but it’s going to be pretty hard to do. Open it up, be a wild person, celebrate, dance like nobody’s watching. 

That is your job.
