Someone built a free tool that unlocks AI models and it has 9,000 stars on GitHub.

It’s called Heretic. You install it in one line, point it at any AI model on your computer, and it automatically removes the restrictions that stop the model from answering certain questions.

The cool part? Most tools like this break the model in the process. Heretic doesn’t. It’s smart enough to remove the restrictions while keeping the model just as smart as it was before. They tested it and it matched results from human experts but with way less damage to the model.

People have already used it to create over 1,000 unlocked models and share them for free on Hugging Face.
