Day 22 | Basement Reno w/ my Mother-in-Law

I feel like this entire DIY basement renovation has been us putting out fires every step of the way…

When you’re only given $3,000 for an entire basement, you’re gonna have to get creative so that’s exactly what we’re doing during this home bar project.

By using IKEA base cabinets and building our own concrete countertop, we were able to save a lot of money!

But since we had $1,000 to work with for this bar, we couldn’t afford a tile backsplash so we had to get $100 worth of shiplap and MAKE IT HAPPEN 💪 

So proud of how this is turning out…

Keith and Sophie have come a longgg way with their DIY skills and we still have so much more to do!
