here’s how to paint your IKEA bookcases 💪

Renovating my friend’s entire basement for only $3k isn’t easy so by using IKEA billy bookcases we’re able to save a lot of money 💰

By customizing the trim around the cabinets, it looks and feels like a custom piece…

And to finish it off, we need to paint them to make them look like they have a factory finish and this is exactly how you do that!

You could totally use this same method with a paint brush and roller, just make sure you use shellac primer or else the paint will never stick. 

By using the hooks, youre able to paint both sides at once and it dries evenly so this is by far the best way to paint your ikea cabinets!
