I never had the chance to fully process the whirlwind of emotions and lessons from being a tedxtinhauwomen speaker. Right after the live event on Dec 6th, I went full steam ahead to make sure our ballroombees Ball was executed to perfection—between rehearsals, setup, and celebrating with hundreds of students and parents, I kept moving forward. 

Today, tedxtinhauwomen and their phenomenal curation team organized a reflection breakfast for speakers, sponsors, and partners. 

danirlopez asked us: *What surprised you the most during this experience?* 

My answer? NERVES. 😅 Yes, I’ve performed on stage, on TV, and spoken publicly countless times—but NOTHING compares to standing on the TEDx stage. 

What surprised me most was how deeply connected I felt to the audience. I expected to focus on delivering my message, but what I discovered was a genuine exchange of energy and ideas. The audience’s reactions—whether laughter or thoughtful silence—showed me how powerful sharing personal stories can be. 

This experience reminded me of the importance of community and how sharing our stories fosters connection and understanding in a divided world. It reinforced the idea that we’re all part of a larger conversation, and that being vulnerable can create bonds in ways I never anticipated. 

To everyone who supported me on this journey, thank you. This was a powerful reminder of the shared human experience and the magic that happens when we come together. 💫
