In the Summer of 2017, my husband invited me to the @aspenideas festival. The moment I walked into that event I had that “aha moment” which I knew we needed to create a conference for the latin fashion / retail community.  As you can see, it all started as a summit and today we are a platform that has many verticals like :  LAFS Experience, Raices by LAFS which is a 3 day event that rotates in different countries in Latin America to highlight our culture, our heritage, our craftsmanship and bring visibility and economy to the country. Tribu Powered By LAFS our digital platform that offers webinars, connections with other industry enterpeneurs such as stylist, manufactures, writers, editors, buyers, fashion consultants, branding experts, content creators just to mention a few. You can also have the luxury to view any of our panels from past summits in the comfort of your home.  Our baby and the one closest to my heart ( pitch to lafs). We launched Pitch to LAFS same day we launched our business.  We knew that we needed to create a contest to highlight those brands that were ready to do that international jump. The beauty of this has been the before and after of the brands that have won and also the success stories of many of the finalist from past years.

As I write this , I can tell you its been far from easy but so insanely gratifying what we have accomplished. It is important to emphasize to any of you wanting to launch a business or scale it ( that what you see in social media is far from the reality).
