This one carries the sweetness of fully ripe aloo bukhara (Indian plum), its crimson flesh muddled with mint and softened by a touch of simple syrup. A quick shake with ice locks in the freshness, while a pour of gin lifts the whole drink into something crisp, bright, and endlessly refreshing.

Recipe – Orchard in a Glass

3-4 ripe Aloo Bukhara (Indian plums), deseeded
6–8 fresh mint leaves
10 ml simple syrup
45 ml gin
Crushed ice & cubed ice

Steps
Muddle the plums and mint leaves gently in a shaker.
Add simple syrup and crushed ice. Shake for 15–20 seconds.
Strain into a glass filled with ice cubes.
Add gin and stir gently with a bar spoon.
Garnish with a fresh sprig (or a bunch) of mint.
