What’s an index fund?

It’s basically a basket of stocks that tracks the market, so you get instant diversification without having to pick individual companies. 

What’s VOO?

VOO is a Vanguard ETF that follows the S&P 500, meaning when you buy it, you’re investing in 500 of the biggest U.S. companies—Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. 

Why I invest in VOO: 

✅ Diversified – Way less risky than trying to pick individual stocks.
✅ Strong history – The S&P 500 has averaged about 8-10% annual returns over time.
✅ Simple – Buy, hold, and let compound growth do the work.

Common Q&As:
❓ How much do I need to start?
👉 Some brokerages let you buy fractional shares with as little as $1. You do not need $3,000 or even $500. Start with whatever you can.
❓ What if the market crashes?
👉 The market goes up and down, but historically, the S&P 500 has always recovered over time. I invest for the long term and I have a higher risk tolerance for market fluctuations. 
❓ Is VOO risk-free?
👉 Nope, like all investments, they are not without risk. Index funds are subject to market fluctuations, and the value of your investment can decrease if the market declines.
