“I stay — emotionally full, physically contained. Because this time… I choose me.” This was my chosen delivery. 

This scene is a love letter to every person who’s ever had to prove their worth to someone else’s standards — and finally realised they don’t need to anymore.

Inspired by one of my all-time favourite films Crazy Rich Asians (yes, I could watch it back-to-back without blinking 👀🍿), this piece between Rachel Chu and Eleanor Young is my version — my take — on a powerful moment of self-ownership. The moment you realise:
You are enough. Without permission. Without approval. Without compromise.

🎭 I crafted this performance with one specific intention: to be emotionally full yet physically contained. Stay with the truth. Stay with the discomfort. Stay with the strength that comes from choosing yourself — calmly, powerfully, completely. Holding back the tears is as powerful as letting them roll down. 

This is my delivery. My interpretation.
And if you’ve ever felt “not enough” in someone else’s story — I hope this resonates deep in yours. 💛
