The $891 million redevelopment will reshape part of Darling Harbour, introducing a 183m mixed-use tower alongside new public spaces and green infrastructure above the Western Distributor.

Here’s what’s planned:
🏙️ 43-storey tower reaching 183m
🌿 5,500sqm rooftop “hanging garden” park
🌳 Over 500 new trees across the precinct
🚶 New pedestrian bridge connecting to Market Street

The project will deliver a mix of commercial and retail space, while also expanding public areas with more than 15,000sqm of open space across the site.

One of the biggest features is the elevated podium that will extend over the Western Distributor, creating a new green connection through the city and improving pedestrian access around the harbour.

Construction is expected to roll out in stages over around three years, with early works now approved — including demolition of existing structures on the site.

It’s part of a broader wave of redevelopment across Darling Harbour, as the precinct continues to evolve into one of Sydney’s most modern waterfront destinations.
