It’s been a rough start to the year to say the least 😂 I had NO idea working evenings again would start bringing up these very anxious emotions I used to have during my PhD 😬 I’m not even working as long or as hard as I did during my PhD 😅 Just an hour or two but it’s crazy how quickly you swing back into that negative headspace 🥺

I’m trying to deal with it appropriately and meditate and let go of those emotions 🌬️ but it’s not as easy as I thought 🧐 and the emotions are more dominant than I expected 🤷 so I’m just taking it one day at a time and hoping I soon won’t have to do evenings anymore 🤓

I don’t know if anyone else has experienced this after moving to industry 👩‍🔬 but I thought I’d put myself out there and see if anyone could relate 🥹 or at least show all you PhDs out there that industry can also be quite tough 🥲 I just hope it doesn’t completely scare you away!! 👻 There’s a lot of positives too! 😊 I just want to make sure I keep it real 🥰
