I really like this way of putting it 😂 Especially with the smiling picture because I often feel out of place but I still keep going and smiling like it’s all fine 😁 And usually it is all fine! I just am constantly worried inside my head if I’m fine ENOUGH! You know? 🤔

I never used to feel like I had ever experienced imposter syndrome until I started my industry scientist position 👩‍🔬 probably because I’m not working in my old field of research anymore 🥺 But I like to think that over the year I’ve been working there I’ve been able to find my niche within the company a bit more 🤓

That doesn’t stop that self doubt from creeping in during some meetings though 😬 When I feel so totally out of place and not like an expert at all 🙈 But I’m learning not to listen to that voice and just be very honest about what I do and don’t know and what my opinion is 😊 And that seems to be working alright 🥹
