Sydney’s nightlife is entering a new chapter 🌙✨

Exactly 12 years after the lockout laws were introduced, the NSW Government is removing the final major restrictions across the former lockout precincts — Kings Cross, Oxford Street and the Sydney CBD 🏙️

What’s changing now: ✅
•	The 3:30am “last drinks” rule is being removed 🍸⏰
•	The mandated plastic cups requirement is being scrapped 
•	RSA marshals after midnight (for certain venues) will no longer be mandatory 👮‍♂️➡️
•	Blanket per-person drink limits and the ban on promoting shots during late trade are being repealed 🥃📈

The government says these updates follow consultation and a downward trend in alcohol-related night-time assaults, shifting to a more targeted, venue-by-venue approach to safety 📉🛡️
