On this day, we lost the greatest love of all…our sweet Georgie.

The world dimmed, the sky a little less golden, the air a little more still. But even now, his light lingers in the quiet moments and colors that light up every sunset we see. 

He was warmth, laughter and love. And though we ache in his absence, we carry his light forward in every act of kindness, in every shared adventure, in every new day with his sister Lily. 

But even in the weight of this day, I want to choose joy because that’s what Georgie would have done. He lived with so much light, so much kindness, so much love to give.

So today, in honor of Georgie, who was 9 years old, I ask you to do something small but mighty:
Donate $9 to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. 

A place that gives so much love back to his community and the place that continues to care so deeply for his twin sister, Lily.

Let’s take a day marked by heartbreak and turn it into a day of giving. Let’s continue to let Georgie’s love ripple out into the world. 

Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned in these years without him, it’s that love doesn’t end. It keeps moving through us, from us, for him.

Thank you for helping me carry him forward. Maybe even chase a sunset for him tonight?
