What began as a simple goal turned into an unforgettable adventure. My sister and I laced up for the Turtle Crawl 5K on Jekyll Island, cheered on by our family and surrounded by incredible scenery. The race day energy was electric, and to my surprise, I placed third in my age group. It feels like more than just crossing a finish line—it feels like the start of something new.
