This one thing my son said to me melted my heart. My son asked me if I noticed how other moms yell “That’s my son” during races.  I thought he was going to tell me not to do that. Instead he told me he likes that.

That one moment reminded me that connection with your adopted child doesn’t always look like a big conversation. Sometimes it’s showing up loud and proud.

If you’re an adoptive mom, the small moments matter more than you know. Keep showing up. Keep cheering them on.

Trust can sometimes sounds like a mom cheering her son at a track meet.
