সব্যসাচী নজরুল 

ফিলিস্তিনের আকাশে
ওই দেখো চাঁদ রাতে
আলো কই আলো নাই
রক্ত ঝরে যে তাতে।

রক্তাক্ত সেই চাঁদ কি জানে 
লাখো মৃত্যুর মানে?
কেন অসহায় গাজাবাসী 
নিজভূমে পরবাসী?

লাশের মিছিল পথ ধরে
রক্তের নদী বয়ে চলে
শিশুরাও মৃত্যুর কোলে
মাগো বাঁচব না বলে।

রক্তস্রোতে মিশে একাকার
চারিদিকে হাহাকার!
এতো মৃত্যু শেষে একদিন
আসবেই আসবে সুদিন।

Bloodstained Moon

In the sky of Palestine,
Look at the moon tonight.
Where is its light?
Blood drips from its sight.

Does that bloodstained moon know
The meaning of countless deaths?
Why do helpless Gazans
Remain exiled in their own land?

A procession of corpses moves along,
A river of blood flows on.
Even children embrace death,
Crying, “Mother, we won’t survive.”

Drenched in the torrent of blood,
Echoes of agony fill the air.
Yet after all this death and pain,
A brighter dawn will surely appear.
