Sat down with Phalak on her show Sherni (Lioness) Unfiltered, where we spoke about what it means to be young and greatly driven. We talked about the moments that shaped us and the struggles we turned into strength. We also spoke about the fire that keeps us going, even when the odds aren’t in our favour.

Growing up in a middle class family, I’ve often been reminded that not everyone begins at the same starting line and that for some, doors seem to open more easily. But what I’ve learned is this: while we can’t control where we begin, we have the power to decide where we’re headed. Your starting point is just part of the story, not the whole of it

And as Phalak said, “God helps those who help themselves.”
