Hi friends ❤️ I hope this message finds you well. It’s been a while since I posted. It didn’t make sense to post about food with everything going on. But I wanted to pop in to remind you about the Palestinian watermelon culture that inspired this delicious summer treat. Existence is resistance. 

From the pages of my cookbook - this recipe is a love letter to Palestinian heritage. Watermelon, a symbol of resistance and cultural pride, meets the earthly richness of pistachio in a cheesecake that tells a deeper story. 

In Palestine, watermelon isn’t just a fruit - it’s memory, resilience, and identity on a plate. Today, while many of us enjoy the beauty of our traditions through food, countless families in Gaza are facing unspeakable hunger. Entire communities are being starved and silenced.

Please make a prayer - for peace, for justice, and for a future where no child sleeps hungry. May we never forget the land, the people, or the stories that season our dishes with meaning.
