Proud is an understatement ~ last night my talented hubby hutch_custom won the BEST PRODUCT DESIGN AWARD at decorexafrica ✨ 

Not a lot of people know that it was Warren pursuing his love of design and carpentry that inspired me to chase my dream of songwriting and music after building an entire career in another industry. Change is scary, and taking that leap into something new is not easy. He fought for that dream and carved out space in his life to pursue it and it made me want to do the same 🤍

I’ve watched you step outside of your comfort zone and transform over the past few years into the creative leader that you have always dreamed of being. This kind of recognition is SO well deserved, and you’ve barely scratched the surface of what you are capable of. Watching people adore you and admire you for your work and your craft has been one of the biggest privileges of my life. I’ve loved sitting on the sidelines and being “Hutch’s wife” this week 🤣 Thank you for inspiring so many designers, carpenters, makers and creatives… your impact is already so big and I am just so proud to be along for the ride 🫶🏼 You are now officially an AWARD-WINNING furniture designer 🤍🤍🤍
