@emcaawards Winning this award isn’t just about beautiful hairstyles — it’s about the journey, the resilience, the grace, and the calling behind every bride I touch. People often see the glam, the flights, the glowing brides, the flawless installs — but they don’t always see the parts of my story that shaped the woman behind the chair.

One of the hardest days of my life was the morning my mother passed away. And that same morning, I had a bride counting on me. I questioned how I could possibly show up — but my gift, my purpose, and God’s strength carried me into that room. And when my hands began to move… something shifted. Glam became the very thing that helped hold me together. Serving someone else in their moment of joy softened my grief, even if just for a moment. I will never forget that.

So standing on this stage as Bridal Hairstylist of the Year feels like a full-circle blessing — an elegant reminder that even through life’s hardest seasons, purpose will always rise. Excellence will always find its way. And my mother’s love has never left my side.
