I can’t believe I’m finally done decorating/ renovating/ remodeling! It’s been quite the design journey but all the risks I took were worth it to me, I truly do love it in here 😍

For those asking if I would sell my home to move to NYC, no I wouldn't! I would live bicoastal. I lived in NYC for undergrad and only left to do my Masters at a university in Paris. From there I moved to London and then Colombia (random I know but it was amazingggg CC @passportheavy ) , and finally to LA where I have been for the majority of the last 8 years minus one year that I moved back to London. But I alwaysss dreamed of returning to NYC as an established adult meaning no longer needing 2 roommates to afford housing 45 mins outside the city, living on dollar pizza and Haitian fish patties (although I high key want to learn to make those lol), and being forced to take the subway at all hours in rain hail sleet snow and subfreezing temps because taking an astronomically priced taxi from manhattan to almost flatbush was out of the question lol 

And ill admit, the idea of taking my new found passion and talent for home decor to transform an NYC high-rise apartment into a feminine whimsical dreamy oasis with manhattan skyline views, a terrace to entertain, and walking distance to a farmers market where I'll snag my weekly necessities and flowers to make tablescapes and cook for dinner parties sounds like just the romantic culturally rich and vibrant soft life experience Ive grown to know and love in all my travels 🥹🫂💕

So no I'm not selling! I would also like to add that I rent out a detached guest house on my property that covers 40% of my monthly mortgage cost and I've set my home up to be available for production rentals so I feel I have found some ways to balance the economic burden you'd imagine owning a home in LA and renting an apartment in NYC would carry.  They're not fool proof plans but its something!
