Added a little twist to our favorite Pastelon de Platano Maduro, and my family LOVEDDD IT 😋

*if your yuca-mash hardens, mix in 1/2 cup of milk or heavy cream! 

Ingredients ⬇️ 
2 lbs yuca
4 tbsp butter
2 tsp salt
4 tsp garlic powder
6 sweet plantains
1 cup sugar
4 cups shredded cheese
(I used Gouda and Mozzarella)
