## Caption

Growing up, I only had osso bucco (“oso buco”) in the homes of older Dominicans, and I loved it, every time I had it. Slow cooked, tender, full of flavor, this osso buco guisado is perfect over rice, and a side of vinegary green salad 😋 

2 lbs beef shank 
3 tbsp sofrito 
2 tbsp garlic paste
4-5 olives 
1 bell pepper 
1/2 red onion 
1 & 1/2 tbsp all purpose seasoning 
1/2 tbsp black pepper 
1 tbsp Dominican oregano 
2 tbsp oil (avocado oil) 
2 chicken bouillon cubes 
4 cups of water (depends on your pot size)
