👩🏾‍💻📌Attending the Executive Leadership Council’s Mid-Level Managers’ Symposium (MLMS) this week was truly transformative. As a Black woman and leader in cybersecurity, I recognize the importance of being in spaces where growth is nurtured. As a leader, it’s essential to be in these rooms, and I’m beyond grateful to my job for sponsoring me and investing in my future.

The ELC Symposium is designed to connect Black high-potential, high-performing corporate managers and leaders with Black C-Suite leaders from Fortune 1000 and Global 500 companies, offering powerful opportunities for networking and learning. I had the privilege of engaging with some of the most influential leaders, who generously shared their insights and advice. These conversations reminded me of the power of mentorship and community, and I’m grateful for the leaders who offered not just their wisdom but their personal connections.

Special thanks to my leadership for believing in me and continuously pouring into my growth as a leader. The one-on-one conversations I had with C-Suite executives, particularly Black leaders, were powerful. They shared insights, wisdom, and, yes, even phone numbers—reminding me of the power of mentorship and community. Hearing Citi CFO Mark Mason speak on how leadership thrives in times of crisis by embracing diverse perspectives was incredibly powerful. He emphasized the need for an inclusive culture, where every voice matters, driving innovation and ensuring lasting impact.

This experience not only helped me build my network but reinforced my commitment to strengthening my executive presence. As I continue to work toward becoming a Principal, I’m thankful for every opportunity to connect, learn, and grow. I’m walking away from this week with new connections, actionable advice, and a renewed sense of purpose. Thankful for the opportunities ahead and for being part of a company that invests in my growth. Special Thanks to joebriggsesq cashley531 ⭐️.
