I'm still going for what I want before I stop. 

I'm still pushing and lifting, and i have to say I feel like the work is starting to come through. Naturally, as someone who holds herself to a level much higher than before all the time,  it's tough to ride this rollercoaster. But as a Houstonian who rode some of the craziest actual rollercoasters back in the day, it only prepared me for the curves I have faced up to now. 

There have been times I wanted to scream at the scale, and other times, I was afraid to even look. I do it anyway, but the anxiety of doing that on top of checking my blood pressure daily has taught me to have greater patience and not to beat myself up for something out of my control. 

The key is learning to freakin RELAX AND BREATHE! Not everything goes a certain way, despite our best efforts. We only make it worse when the emotions get the best of us and allow that to take over. The body responds to those emotional and mental conversations you have with yourself as you gaze upon your reflection in the mirror more than you know. 

Remind yourself that you are an incredible human being capable of anything you put your mind to! Focus on the positive. 

You've got this!!

I'm learning that autoimmune disorders don't have to dictate how you view or feel about yourself. I won't let it define me. It's just another level to conquer. 😉
