It may take some time, but it's time well spent! 

Lifting weights has always been a passion of mine every since I was 12. Little did I know how valuable that passion would be once I got into my 50s, much less what I would do with that passion when I was 39. First pic 2014. Second 2020. 

The point is that fitness isn't always something that we're eager to get into if it just isn't what you're accustomed to or don't know where to start. 

Tomorrow is never a guarantee, and New Years goals about losing weight or getting in shape are just an excuse to put off what you could be doing today. The longer you wait, the harder it becomes.
