On International Women’s Day, I’m reminded of this moment a week ago. I had the honor of moderating a powerful conversation with @sen_alsobrooks and @jasmineforus — two dynamic women making their mark in DC.

We took The Tashara Parker Show on the road. And moments like this are exactly why I built it. One of the greatest freedoms of a digital platform is that we’re not tied down to a studio. We can go wherever the conversation is happening, stream in real time, and capture meaningful dialogue without the fuss of a large setup or crew.

Throughout my time talking to candidates on the campaign trail, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with leaders like James Talarico and Jasmine Crockett, navigating what journalism looks like as the industry continues to evolve. The platforms may change, the rules may shift, but the mission remains the same: create space for the conversations that matter.

Truth is, I don’t often pause. Like many of you, it’s usually on to the next story, the next interview, the next assignment.

But part of what I mean when I say #LoudBehavior is recognizing that God is orchestrating every step. And sometimes we have to slow down long enough to let the moment sink in — to appreciate the rooms we’re in, the voices we’re surrounded by, and the purpose behind it all.

Happy International Women’s Day to every woman out there making noise, making moves, and making history.
