Junior Ezeonu is just 26 years old.
He currently serves as mayor pro tem in Grand Prairie, Texas.

And Tuesday night, he pulled off a major primary win defeating longtime incumbent Chris Turner in the Democratic race for Texas House District 101 in southeast Tarrant County.

A Republican candidate did not run in the primary, meaning Ezeonu will run unopposed in November. 

It raises a bigger question: Are we seeing a generational shift happening inside the Democratic Party?
