If you haven’t painted in a while, this is your sign that it’s okay 😊

Saw this in my Archive. Painted this back in 2-22-2020 before the lockdown. So much has changed since then. 

The last time I held a brush was Jan 7. And there’s no guilt or frustration. I don’t feel the “block.” 

Been sick for weeks and when I started feeling well I tended to my terrace plants and did a few TikTok videos that are not art related. 

I guess I’m not an artist if the criteria is to paint at least 15 minutes a day. I personally find it more satisfying to paint a few hours and more so when I finish an artwork in one sitting. So when I know I don’t have as much time as I’d like to paint, I opt not to. 

So again, it’s ok if you don’t feel like painting. When it’s the inspired time, it’s going to be magical 🥰
