Get in Pookies, we are going to Lagos with @klm ! I’m so excited. You already know I’m a girly’s girly and I’ve been a @klm girly since I moved to this country 13 years ago, but this trip feels different.

KLM and I are dedicating this journey to showing you what it truly means to #travelwell. Not just checking things off a bucket list, but actually slowing down, immersing yourself in each moment, and enjoying the experience. That is what travel should be.

Lately, I’ve noticed that so many people rush from spot to spot just to take a picture. Then you get to these beautiful places and they’re overcrowded, and nobody is actually present. Travelling well is about more than that. It is about the moments that make a trip special. Reconnecting with loved ones. Celebrating something meaningful. Attending a wedding or a party. Taking solo time to reset and reflect. Whatever it looks like for you, always remember to travel well.

And honestly, flying with KLM makes that easier. Their flights are consistent, the service feels warm and familiar, and the comfort on board gives you space to actually start your trip rested instead of stressed. I love that I can connect from Edmonton to Amsterdam and then to Lagos so smoothly, and even the little things like the  friendly crew set the tone for the whole journey. It feels like they understand that travel should be enjoyable from the moment you check in.
