If I’m honest, I don’t often speak about my marriage publicly. I was raised by Creole women who believed some things are better protected than performed. 
I don’t know call it superstition (which I fully am, lol) but I’ve always felt like sacred things deserve quiet.”

But tonight, I’m choosing to share. Not advice. Not perfection. Just truth.

Marriage is the hardest and most beautiful thing I’ve ever committed to. It has broken me, rebuilt me, softened me, and matured me. And somehow, it has made me more me.

We’ve been together nearly a decade. We’ve navigated culture, grief, identity, language, faith, fear, and joy. 
My husband—Vietnamese, direct, opinionated, a little rough around the edges, has taught me more about grace than any book ever could.

Love doesn’t look one way. 
It isn’t a formula. 
It isn’t a podcast script. 
It isn’t about performance or perfection.

Love is deeply human. Sacred. Designed by God, not just to fulfill us—but to stretch us into the most generous, honest version of ourselves.
