Raise your hands if you’re ready to make 2025 your most travelled year yet! Here’s how I’m actually planning my trips and how you can too.

1. Write it down-Manifesting works, but planning is even better pookie. Do you want to travel every quarter? Two trips a year? Winter getaway? Weekend?
Baecation, solo, or even a girls’ trip? Whatever the plan is, please write it down! It makes it clearer and helps you plan accordingly.

2. Open a dedicated travel fund - Whether it’s $25 or $250/month, I treat my travel fund like a nonnegotiable expense. I save for travel the way I would save for a house. Money goes into this dedicated account every pay period and stays there. It allows you to know how much you actually have to spend so you’re not spending money you don’t have on travel (the goal is to travel without going broke! Shoutout to xoreni for reminding us that we can enjoy but not at the expense of our financial well-being). You can also put this on a high-interest savings account. I love eqbank and simplifin

3. Use flight deal trackers - I swear by sites like skyscanner and going to catch flight deals that make travel way more affordable.

4. Leverage loyalty points - I’m obsessed with my aeroplan points. From flights to hotels, l’ve stretched my dollar so far with rewards.

5. Travel off-season - Want Europe without the summer crowds? Try fall or even winter. And Lagos? As much as I love Detty December, going in November or January saves serious $$$.

6. Explore lesser-known gems - Banff is stunning, but have you been to Waterton or Canmore?
Same vibes, fewer people, lower costs.
