PSA: Your resume is not a mood board. It’s a hiring document.
I wish someone showed me and explained what a resume looked like because I was submitting resumes that looks like the first couple ones. When in reality, there are standardized resumes that recruiters and companies expect.  So, If you’re applying for jobs in 2026, this matters more than ever.
Colors, photos, multiple pages, graphics, and creative layouts can actually hurt your chances, especially with ATS systems.

This applies to internships, entry-level roles, early career, and career pivots. Save this before you apply.
Your resume should get you interviews, not filtered out.
