Last episode before we start the educational series on how to recognize a toxic work place environment , protect yourself, and how to move forward.

I quit my job back in October.
After an entire month of pushing through, being more stressed out then ever, genuinely crying everyday, & even going to therapy to try and help with what my had me going through... I finally admitted to myself that I wanted a career with real meaning in a place that wasn’t draining, dismissive, or toxic.
Balancing corporate life with being a creator was one of the hardest seasons of my life. I started content creation because being first gen is such a challenge and I wanted to help other students figure out college and career without the extensive hours I did. But with social media, regardless of what good you are doing, You have no sense of privacy. People you’ve never met feel entitled to comment on you, question you, label you, like it’s a personality trait instead of a whole career you built.
But I learned so much from it.
About boundaries.
About self-worth.
About choosing environments that pour into you instead of taking from you. I’ll share the lessons soon, because so many of us are navigating this weird space of wanting stability but also wanting purpose.
Just know this:
Choosing yourself is not dramatic.
Leaving environments that don’t honor you is not reckless.
And stepping into something that finally aligns with who you are is true courage.
