I’m a proud Afro-Latino man. But throughout my life, I’ve faced challenges with my identity.

	•	Not considered “Black enough” for “the culture.”
	•	Not fluent enough in Spanish to be fully embraced as Puerto Rican.

This struggle has caused a lot of pain, but instead of letting it hold me back, I chose to say f*ck it and represent us anyway 🇵🇷.

That’s what capacity expansion is all about—pushing yourself into uncomfortable spaces, challenging norms, and standing tall no matter what. Step up to the occasion with your head held high! Period!

I took on a Spanish-speaking role because I’m proud of my heritage and I wanted to represent us on an international stage.

Soy boricua, and I’m damn proud of it 💪🏾.
