✨#1: Labeling (amazing psychology tip)
Tell someone they are a positive trait - e.g., “you’re very helpful”, “you’re so patient”
→ They’ll want to LIVE UP TO IT

Instead of: “Could you help me fix these errors?”
Try: “Your analysis is always top-tier - could I get your eyes on some errors that are likely easy for you?”

✨#2: Reframing
Making the ask *mutually beneficial* or *more easily manageable*

Instead of: “Could we move the deadline?”

Try (*mutually beneficial*): “To meet the team’s quality standards, we’ll need 3 more days - could that work?”

And instead of: “Will you join this project?”

Try (*easily manageable*): “Will you join just a 1-hour weekly working session for the first phase?”

✨#3: Anchoring
Setting the bar HIGH first, so then YOUR ASK feels reasonable

Steve Jobs back in 1970s asked his firm Atari to PAY for his flight to India as he was QUITTING

Big ask → they said no

Then Steve said “okay, can you send me to Munich, I’ll do a bit of work for our firm’s German branch, then I’ll go to India from there”

The firm said YES to this

Because in comparison, Munich seemed more reasonable, and he offered to do work

If he asked for Munich from the beginning, they might’ve said no
