✨#1: Ask them for PERMISSION to disagree
Such a psychology hack - now they're INVITING you & they'll be more receptive

"Thanks for your idea - I had a few different perspectives in mind as well - would it be helpful for me to share?"

"I see your point - I'm considering an alternative - would you be open to hearing?"

✨#2: Ask them QUESTIONS to help them realize
Without you directly disagreeing! You also come off as a critical, helpful, thinker

"If [this risk] happened, how might things play out?"

"Do you think that will hold true given [this new factor]?"

✨#3: Indicate openness to their THOUGHTS
Offering warmth & understanding means they're more likely to reciprocate

"I liked this option more, but I want to hear how you feel about it and discuss together"

"I want to suggest path B because of XYZ, but I'm curious to hear why you didn't choose that"
