I’ve been wanting to make this video to specifically talk to my fellow Haitian women. The ones who grew up seeing beauty defined one way, yet had to find themselves within other versions of it. There is so much beauty in who we are, in our history, in our culture. I hope you learn to see it in yourself first.

I didn’t know taking a headwrap class at @fanmdjanm would change how I see myself to this extent but I’m grateful for this new perspective. Thank you fanmi 💕🫂
