10 books on Black Health & Wellness 📚🖤

I’m back with the book recommendations! I took a little break but this is timely as I myself went back to the readings that help sustain me in times of crisis and despair.

During the Black Lives Matter Day event at @umassboston last Monday, I came up with the idea to do a giveaway of 12 books on Black health and wellness. As an emerging scholar on healing, I’ve read most of the books listed and they have influenced my self-care for myself for the better. It was important to me that people who attended the event can take home something that can contribute to changing their wellness practice.
