## Caption

When things don't always go to plan! I did get some 2 part wood filler from B&Q but when I opened the lid there was no part 2... So I dug out the resin I used to patch my bath. Not sure what possessed me to use it and thinking I'd be able to skim it flat and not need to sand it 😅 and of course the sanding ruined it all! Would you believe the worktop paint is 5 layers thick of white (only 2-3 layers were recommended!) followed by 2 layers of top coat?! It didn't last long. 

I had originally planned to patch, re paint and use a better varnish on top for a protective glossy finish but that went out the window as soon as I started ripping through to the fake granite counter 🙈

Luckily I rescued the project with a trip to @bandq_uk and picked up some vinyl wrap by @dcfixbrand to cover the whole thing instead! 

I think the pattern is growing on me, but the surface is 100x better than before, everything is easily wiped and we even rolled out pizza dough on it with ease this weekend!
