I kept saying “yes”-thinking that’s what a good designer does.

Until one day I realised: I’m working for free… just more professionally.

And the worst part?

The burnout didn’t show in the work.
It showed in my life-skipped meals, sleepless nights, zero joy.

So no, this isn’t a “hustle hard” story.
It’s a wake-up call.

As freelancers, we aren’t just offering services.
We’re offering sanity, time, energy.

And that needs boundaries.
