When you’re pulled out of elementary school and told as a child it is “YOUR DUTY” to  work 12-16 hour days.. without thought or question.. that mentality infects *EVERY* job you have afterwards. 

It was ingrained in me at a young age to give my ALL to working for others, blindly— Even when it didn’t benefit me— and sadly, it STUCK! 💔 Even after escaping the cult every job I held I worked excessively long hours, at the expense of my body and health bc “i HAD to.” 

✨✨This year I stepped away from all of that FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER! And It feels soo surreal. ✨✨

I’m not sure what my next big move will look like yet BUT ONE THING IS FOR SURE: any work I do will be FOR ME! And I’ll be working ONLY on projects I’m PASSIONATE about. 

Oh, and I DAMN SURE WILL NOT BE: 
- raising kids that aren’t mine 
- being underpaid OR under appreciated 
- working like a dog to make OTHERS’ money, or 
- doing anything that doesn’t fuel MY spirit ! 

AND THATS WORTH JUMPING AROUND ABOUT!! 🤗😆🥳.. more to come ! 😉
